RE: [Chrysler300] Replacement for the 413

Actually, mine was already bored .060 and is now out of tolerance, so it's
live a long useful life! I understand there may be an issue with the
transmission mating to later 413's?

I bored a 63 413 block .060 years ago and it ran really good for years.

I built it to 300J specs and ran with a 300K single 4bbl. It has the solid
lifter heads on it yet

Still have it but it has a crack in the water jacket due to my not getting
it drained when stored.

Dan, I was curious aboout this. You might want to read this article,
especially at the end of the first page where he says to go ahead and bore
.060 over.

The 413 in my G is .060 over and worn out, so I need a new long block at the
least. Question: How does the 440 run with the cross rams? Or should I try
to find a 413? Thanks! Dan
