It is possible many things are different, including the crankshaft. If used on saltwater, things could be nasty. I found this thread by Googling: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/chrysler-marine-hemi-info.441303/ Hemi’s were used for many applications including air-raid sirens, irrigation pumps, generator sets, propelling Chrysler 300 automobiles at most rapid paces and blowing the doors off of everything else at NASCAR in 1955 & 1956.
