Keith,. I think you are requesting the part number stamped on the machined surface of the casting.  300 C received the following  "1854123".        A typical serial number would be a 7 digit.  One of mine is 1158513 another is 1156911.  Of course these special transmissions were often switched with what ever was available when service was required. Any comments would be appreciated.

Someone gave me a casting number I need to look for a year or so ago, and I've misplaced it.


The Torqueflite for a '57 300C is said to have a different casting number from the standard models. As I am looking at old Torqueflites, I would appreciate it if someone can provide this number to me again so I don't end up with the wrong model.
