WD40 is okay but if you want the best product on the market this is it:

Here is the story I like to share about this stuff.  We have a very expensive Grandfather Clock and after years of use it started to slow and sometimes the chimes would not work.  I took a bit of the Gibbs and lubed everything I could get to.  For the next year + I continued to slow the clock down as it was running much to fast.  That was years ago and I've never touched it since.

Hi group, my mechanic sprayed WD40 into the heat defrost AC controls that were real stiff, now there easy to use but they do not work, should I rebuild the control or do I have a vacuum leak. Before the WD40 the controls hardly worked for AC, defrost, air flow.
