Not to hijack the conversation, but after rebuilding
the K-H power brake booster on my 55 Desoto (same as C300), it worked fine. Took
me about an hour total to do the rebuild.

eye. I did advise the first
buyer of the originality of the Motor Wheel wires but the great majority out
there just think K-H was the maker of all wires. Only we insiders and a
few of our cohorts know and relish the little-known fact that MoPar?s ride on
Motor Wheel wheels, but have crappy K-H power brake boosters (in 1955,
anyway). The car has gone
through at least two buyers since I sold it five years ago. The first
buyer died in a car crash when his Sunbeam Alpine was broad-sided. The car
then went to Volo car museum and sat for a while with diminishing prices?then
was snapped up?possibly by current seller. I hope it finds a
loving home. It is an early car--#198?with original engine
