Years ago I spoke to the fellow who built the car but I don’t remember his name but I’m sure someone in the club knows. He had sold it some time earlier and it was for sale at that time for $69k or so (I think it was in Hemmings.) if I recall correctly, the fellow that built it had some strong feelings about some of the grief he got from some purists. It’s a beautiful car and I think it was done really well, including the 440 with short rams, the 727 trans and 300M seats et al (although I would have put 15x7 wheels with G caps on it instead of the later Imperial “snowflake” wheels which it looks like it still has.)
