I think you will find that there is a difference in the valve body

between column shift and console shift in 65 and 66.

We have a 66 300 with issues because of this.

The spare I picked up…I am trying to figure out which valve body it has without opening it up. Now if NOTHING in the 1965 lineup, including Imperial and dodge used a push button and since it is a cable shift then it should have a console valve body…I think…

James, #2466112 is a big block trans used in many 65 vehicles built up to trans serial #1589110. In 1965 there is no breakdown of console or no console like there is in 1964.
