Kim,

I'm very sorry to hear about your ordeal. As Jeff so eloquently put, it seems a lot of people don't believe it's a mopar unless it has a hemi or 6 pack. Please don't the short sightedness of a few dilussional people affect the way you enjoy and view your car. The fact is that your car sounds wonderful and is a survivor. Don't let anyone tell you different. It should be treasured, protected, and shared with all...

If I can make it down to the Fling, I would love to ogle over your great ride. The early B Bodies are wonderful cars. Plane and simple... Nothing rides better and is more fun to drive and own.

Kim -

I am familiar with that show because it is so darned close to me I can't stay away from the vendor swap meets every year. At the risk of naming names, they are, uhm, shall we say a LITTLE biased toward small blocks. Some MOPAR guys think MOPAR is the English translation for the word HEMI and all else is inconsequential, although a 440 six pack will get you honorable mention. I dropped off a (not to mention any names) Mopar Mailing List because you gould get endless threads on a question of the torque seqence for a max wedge intake, but if answered at all a question about a slant six would get you "why don't you get a real car?" if any.

Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person. I.e., send parts/car transactions and negotiations as well as other personal messages only to the intended recipient, not to the Clubhouse public address. This practice will protect your privacy, reduce the total volume of mail and fine tune the content signal to Mopar topic. Thanks!
