Junkyard cheap HEI!
I got an electronic distributor from a 318 Dodge van: $25
GM HEI distributor: $25 (ANY HEI--six cylinder, eight cylinder, buick,
caddy, whatever.)
All you want from the GM is the ECM and the yellow plug on one side of
it, and the two mounting screws.
Make a jumper wire for your ballast resistor--you won't need one ever
again!
You don't need the Mopar control box, either, but you will need an
aftermarket coil, or a Mopar coil from a Lean Burn car.
This interracial marriage is cheap, easy, powerful, and very reliable.
The GM module is available anywhere if you ever break down.

One of our members posted a link about a month ago with this conversion,
and that is where I got the idea from. I feel bad about going to GM
stuff, but sometimes wine beats water!

This practice will protect your privacy, reduce the total volume of mail and fine tune the content signal to Mopar topic. Thanks!
