A spare tire (& jack) is a good idea; maybe a spare fuel pump and water 
pump, if you have them. Bring tools.

Focus on the cowl rust; then the rust in the Plexiglas area. Rust takes 
time to fix.

Have a safe journey and good repair results! Let us know how all works 
out.
