I just spoke to racer Brown today and they helped me with a cam for my
almost done 440. I called Comp Cams earlier and the guy was so rude i
just hung up.
But Racer Brown was quite impressive, the guy on the phone ( his
name was Jim) was patient , professional , personal and explained
everything to me slowly.
I am probably going to go with a street strip hydraulic from racer
brown.. very reasonable at 215 dollars with lifters and lube. it has
480 lift and around 270 degrees duration. Not too wild but he said it
will have a little crunch to it.
I don't know, call me old-fashioned but i like to give my money to
people that are nice to me.
My motor sounds similar to yours, .030 over forged TRWs and about a
9.8 to 1 compression with the 906 heads.

Based upon Don D's recommendation I too contacted Racer Brown. I think the guy I talked to was Sean, but anyway, he asked a lot of questions about my car (65 Dart wagon), motor (340), transmission (904) and rear end (8 & 3/4 with either 2.94 or 3.23's). I bought the cam and the converter he recommended as well as having them build me a heavy duty 904 to work with my 340. It's been slow going with work and some health issues, but I'll eventually get there with the wagon. Also bought a cam from them for a 273/235 motor going in my 65 Barracuda. Again they asked a lot of questions before making a recommendation. Nice people to work with.

Don.
