Re: oil pan fitment

I got that part ... it's the "what do I set it on, how hard to I hit
it, etc., etc., etc. ..." part that I'm worried about.  I only have 1
oil pan :-)

Would a 2x4 (or similar) be an appropriate thing to do this on?

Do I want the holes to be flat or a bit in the other direction?
