RE: 65 trans into 62 car



Ed,
	Sorry, haven't been online much.

	You should be able to bolt everything up and go.  The '65 valve body
has a different adapter that allows over-travel into park on '65 cars, but
the pushbutton units don't need it.  The '65 stuff will work just fine in
your '62 Plymouth or Dodge (not Chrysler).

	Now if you were going the other way, you'd have to switch parts -
manual valve detent lever (rooster comb), and cable adapter.

    Not sure here, but did the 62 engines have the extended flange
crankshaft? 
    The converter bolted directly to the flange instead of a flex 
    plate............................MO
