RE: I need to raise the front end of a Dodge 330

The tire height does make a difference in stance and gear ratio. I am
using different tire sizes just to increase my rear ratio more. I have
27" ties for the street and 24" tires for the track. It does make a BIG
difference. My 3:91 rear is the same as a 4:40 rear would be with my
street tires. I can go through the traps in 3d gear now in the 1/8th.
Also there is a difference in weight. My 27" tires weigh 58lbs mounted
and my 24" tires weigh 39.5lbs. That makes a difference too in unsprung
weight!

Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person. I.e., send parts/car transactions and negotiations as well as other personal messages only to the intended recipient, not to the Clubhouse public address. This practice will protect your privacy, reduce the total volume of mail and fine tune the content signal to Mopar topic. Thanks!
