I understand what you are saying it would seem that the Pertronix may
be part of the problem.

However the distributor triggers the Pertronix that in turn fires the
coil.  Therefore if you have spark at the coil or from the coil wire
at the distributor but no spark to the spark plugs it would appear the
problem is in the distributor cap or wiring.

You may also want to give Pertronix a call, they can help you trouble
shoot this.  I am not absolutely saying Pertronix is not part of the
problem, just saying it probably is not.  If you don't find the
problem let Pertronix give you some help.

Please let us know what solves the problem, we have all chased our
tail over small problems that make us crazy.
