Thanks one sick looking manifold!  Going to wake up my Grandpa’s ’62 Dart wagon in looks department too....  ; )

NO! The Poly SS-X manifold (and valve covers) are true works of art… Vasquez took his creative brilliance and Pavlovich’s directions to the highest degree of fit and finish. We left room in the intake manifold to port and is why some of the bolt holes and bosses look like they were relieved-THEY ARE!!! Dave Antonucci just sent an update on his findings and photos of his Rat Rod with the new manifold installed… Even the Hot Heads 392 manifold by Vasquez has similar machining necessary at the factory and they use a button head bolt turned down to hold their manifold on with only 6 bolts per side and we have 8… Its all about the bigger ports… Vasquez however continues to remind me (yesterday again) that he highly recommends the head be port matched to the intake about one inch in… We realize guys who just want a simple bolt-on can’t do that and performance will still be outstanding-its just that he’s extremely meticulous like Pavlovich…  So the only porting on the manifold required is if you do a full port on the heads and we’ve left you plenty of meat to do that as opposed to other manifolds out there…

Bruce is starting with a stock 2bbl…stock exhaust manifolds and stock y pipe-doing a baseline pull… adding the new Poly SS-X Deep Freeze manifold-another pull… adding tti headers another pull… That will be our baseline… He then is building one of his MAX strokers and will be testing that later in the winter… but his initial testing using the DEEP FREEZE coated intake should fairly well replicate what the average Poly owner can expect by bolting on this manifold…  The significance of the Deep Freeze coatings options shouldn’t skew the numbers significantly and we have so few manifolds yet that we sent him the deep freeze one and the normal uncoated  wind tunnels to long time patient contributors…

                Will there be dyno testing done on a stock poly also, not just a highly modified stroker?

JC Childress at Kowalski Racing has built a Poly Stroker and will be dynoing his maybe even sooner than Bruce… stay tuned..

Just got word from the foundry yesterday that there are 20 more manifolds at the machine shop… means I’ll be making another run next week to CA and pick them up for shipping with enough valve covers to fill ALL valve cover orders… Feedback so far is that a gentleman from Canada got his manifold and polished Poly SS-X valve covers with packaging totally thrashed in shipping but minor scratches on the valve covers easily polished out…  We’ll beef up our shipping containers and probably ship valve covers separate from manifolds from here on…

Dan Jaynes- WOW!!! Got it yesterday....gorgeous....beautiful....wonder what it looks like in black polished?   Will try to get it on this weekend. 

Bruce Toth- Roland good news I got home and my intake and valve covers were here they look great you really out did yourself.

Dave Antonucci…Hi Roland, pics attached of the off center mounting bores. I have the loose pipe thread bores also. We still having Dave reviewing the bolt holes relationship to the ports believing that a very minor core shift caused one bolt boss to be undercut… and for all who do get these manifolds, the ports are made about .250” wider than the original factory Poly ports ergo there is some over/undercutting experienced for bolt clearance and a special socket (allen) head bolt set is required…(That’s how we got such a huge increase in performance…) Regarding the  loose pipe thread holes-water and vacuum taps-, if a quality pipe thread tape is used it is a non-issue…
