Aww what the heck.  It'd do 18 mpg no prob. (that engine didn't have to work at all for regular driving) My dumb-ass Dakota with a little 287 cant top 16 all around to save it's ass.  Outside of that it's a great little truck. (Shoulda bought a standard cab short box hemi ram like my brother did, same mileage but way more power, plus better ride)  Oh well.  Still miss the '64
