RE: Air cleaner housing (preferrably stock) for 318 Poly Carter WCFB carb

I found this website some time ago and although it doesn't claim guarantee to be 100% accurate there's a lot of pics and info on Mopar air cleaners.
http://www.nicksgarage.com/aircleaner.htm

My 63 Chrysler 300 has a 383 2 bbl with the single snorkel air cleaner but the carb has the same size opening as the WCFB 4 bbl. I discovered it takes the same element as the 4 bbl. air cleaner. I replaced it with a dual snorkel air cleaner that's identical to my original except for having the extra snorkel. It's just like the one pictured about 15 rows down on the site that says it's for a 65-67 383 4 bbl.

Probably can use a 4BBL single snorkel air cleaner from a big block Mopar from up to 1965. Only 2 bbl carbs were on 1963 Polys. I think 1961 was the last year for 4BBL 318 Poly motors.

What was the first year for dual snorkel Mopar factory air cleaners? Anyone know?

Thanks,
Gary H.
