This brings to mind a question I should know  ( excuse  , I cannot start a new thread)
  
   When a crank is turned down more than .010, doesn't that take off the hard surfacing? All kinds of stock  stroked cranks these days. Doesn't that make them weaker?                              MO

WE NEED set of stock 360 rods… The beauty of the Mopar engine platforms is their rather extensive interchangeability… We are researching modern day, easy and economical parts to obtain to build your own unique variation on the POLY platform… The current project is a 360 crank cut down to 318 mains using Speed Pro HyperEutectic pistons ($225/set) for std bore 360… makes the POLY block 4.000” at .090” over… and 360 cubic inch… For around $500 you can have a light weight bottom end 360 POLY!!! We just don’t have a set of stock 360 rods laying around… anyone can help us???
