Yes you can.  A lot easier separately, or drop it out the bottom as a unit, like ma MoPar installed them.  Drain the transmissions, or your fluids will flow out the tail shaft.  Or if you have a spare yoke to plug the hole!

Hello,

I'm going to be pulling the engine and transmission out of my 64 Belvedere.

When I pull the 383 and 4-speed transmission out of my 64 SF I can pull them together.  Can I do the same with my 64 that has a 318 Poly and 727 automatic?  I need to work on both the engine and transmission.
