Re: Fuel Labs pump & Fragola filters mounted

Jimmy,

Good idea you had on mounting your fuel pump to prevent damage. I will use Rich Kinsley's method of building a shield for my pump to protect from exhaust heat and road debris...we shall see how it goes.

Well I'm always reluctant to drill holes in the floorpan, which is why
I chose to mount it all to the upper shock crossmember. I used 3"x
1/8" galvanized flatbar (earlier I said 2"x1/8", but was mistaken )
.One drop of the bracket covers the fuel tank strap, the other
connecting drop near the left rear shock. Then there is a third piece
that connects the two drops at the bottom. Very rigid, rustproof, and
out of the way, but it is a tight fit.

of protecting the pump as much as possible.

I mounted my Holley black pump, with BG filter between the rear end

tight fit, but level with the fuel outlet on the tank. Chance of
hitting something on the road is non-existant. The rear end (Dana 60)
protects that from happening.
