WHEN THE FACTORY CLOSED THE EXTRA PARTS WERE USED TO CREATE THIS CAR,WHAT WAS NOT DESOTO WAS ADDED TO MAKE THE CUSTOM YOU SEE.WE WERE TOLD AT THE CAR SHOW THAT IT WAS IN LIFE MAGAZINE AND HOT ROD MAGAZINE IN THE LATE 1950'S AND MAY HAVE BEEN SHOWN AT THE WORLDS FAIR. THE DESOTO WAS FRESHENED UP WITH NEW PAINT,UPGRADED SEATS AND STEREO SYSTEM, DETAILED TRUNK,REBUILT TRANS,NEW BRAKES, NEW DUAL EXHAUST,RE CHROMED DESOTO BUMPERS,CHROME RIMS WITH BABY MOONS AND NEW FAT WHITE TIRES.THE 341 HEMI ENGINE RUNS GREAT.AUTO PUSH BUTTON TRANS.POWER STEERING. THE CAR IS RUST FREE AND ALL STEEL. MODIFICATIONS ARE: THE BODY IS SECTIONED. THE HOOD NOSED WITH A CUSTOM SCOOP IN HOOD. BUICK HEAD LIGHTS.CUSTOM GRILL. THE TRUNK IS DECKED, 1950 DODGE TAIL LIGHTS. ALL BODY STAINLESS WAS REMOVED AND FILLED. Location: new york		Looks like a 52 Desoto to me ! with 1957 drive train. You would have to be a total JERK! to make a 57 look like that! HAPPY MOTORING! Victor..
P.S. Back than they tried to to update customs . Not make them look older!

I agree. The 57 DeSoto is way cooler looking than that. It looks like they tried to turn it into an old Jag or Mercedes.
