I bought an period correct aftermarket 4-way emergency flasher some time ago, but hesitated to mount it due to that I did'nt want to cut or alter anything in the original cable harness. Then I saw that Hemidenise posted about an unknown 4-way flasher accessory and understod how to make the "cable thief" connector. I have now made my own connection that will fit for sure 1960 Chryslers (Imperial?) and maybe 1961 as well. As for the other 1960 MoPar cars, they have the 6 pole connector thats shown in Hemidenise thread and confirmed by the instructions supplied by Chuck. http://www.forwardlook.net/forums/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=29435&...

Now I must think through carefully if and where I shall mount my switch. Since that it's not a MoPar accessory and I dont know the recommended "OEM" position, I think I will mount it below the dashboard, eventually using existing holes for the bracket.

The connectors that I used comes from a scrapped cable harness, then I soldered extra cables to the front and rear light cables.

Below is electrical schemas in Swedish and English, as well as pictures on the "cable-thief" and the switch.
