Yes - Kle. is right.
I paid about $1100.00 for a rebuild on my '62 Custom
about 3 years ago. The rebuilder was a family owned
business and not a chain, if that matters to anyone.

I would've expected something in the $500 - $1200 range, but maybe you
live somewhere expensive?
