Re: IML: classic car insurance

Am I right in assuming that classic car insurers all require the cars to be garaged? I bought "regular" coverage on my latest procurement (non-imperial/classic Buick) because I do not yet have a garage for it. I only got one quote, however, and then just called my regular insurance company and added the car to my existing daily driver policy. Now I'm feeling stupid (a familiar place)wondering if I should have shopped around. I need an insurer that will be compatible with my umrella policy requirements, etc.

My Imperial is stored in the garage, and I can't squeeze the Buick in there. The Imperial isn't on the road yet, so I don't insure it. (Required Imperial content)
