Imperialists,
I have traced an ongoing leak finally to a seal at
my box on my 1956 Imperial Sedan. I can purchase a Lower Steering Box Seal
Kit/Pitman Shaft Seal however the parts house can only confirm this kit to go
back to the 1957 Imperial. My question therefore is,
is this kit compatible for both of those years, or was
there a change in technology between the model years preventing me from use of
the '57 offering?
