Ron, Edelbrock makes an aluminum stock replacement manifold PN: 2191, with both carb. bolt patterns (carter, holley,Q-jet) For best gas mileage, we've found, the Rochester Q-jet, or Carter Thermo-quad, works best.But don't expect a big gain. Maybe 1-3 mpg. Best things to do: Tire pressure,dual exhaust,brake adjustment,tune-up specs. ie: timing, plug gap carb jetting etc. Poor gas mileage, from these land yachts, is part of the : FUN FACTOR . FYI, I had a 78 NewYorker 440 powered, that could get, 12 city-16 highway. Thats in flat land, Florida. Thanks, Dave.
