RE: IML: Engine specs

That would depend on which engine it has.  If it is an Imperial Airflow, it would be either a C9, a C10, or a C11.  The C9 has the 115 HP 323.5 Cu In Engine, the other two have the 130 HP engine (both are the same displacement.  The torque spec is not published in anything I have for reference, but the same engine was used for many years, and in 1940, the torque spec was either 255 or 260 Ft Lbs, depending on which HP rating engine was used, so I’d guess a C9 would have around 240 Ft. Lbs, and the C10 and C11 would be around 250 Ft Lbs.  As for where to access these specs, your shop manual should have them.  If you don’t have a shop manual, you should get one, as it will be very valuable in maintaining the car.
