My pink Silvercrest was sold new in 1959 from Tucson. The sun really does fade the paint though, but with a stainless steel roof mine had not faded at all. It must have been blinding to have it in view on a bright day. Even though it has been in New England for years there is no rust. Desert cars are the best ones to pick up for restoration in my opinion.
