Re: IML: 56 Imperial seats stolen

Lupe,
We pulled the interior and he took it with him from my house. Theft refering to after calling him for 2-weeks and no-reply it was starting to look like I had been ripped off. I am very happy to report I received a phone call at lunch from you know who. It was a releif to here it was the guy doing my interior. Just when you think its a lost cause here comes a surprise. Mind you I have alot of faith in my fellow man and when I start thinking it may be bad it usually is. I am accused all the time from my family including my kids of being to trusting in people. Well I think its to late for me to change my ways. We will see what happens. I told him when we started if he did good work I would refere some people and he said that would be great. He is of lower income and I just want to help him get started. The work he has done is great. My dash pad is awesome, along with the rear door pannels. I will keep everyone up to par as we go.

Thanks
Tim

I don't quite understand your description of the theft. Did he abscond with the car and all or just the seats and door panels?

Recommend a certified letter with complete facts, photos, et al to the state attorney general's office, consumer fraud branch, with copy to the Governor.

Been there; done that; got money back from kind sister of the felon (New Jersey).  Whew.

Best wishes.

Well my trusting people has probably just cost me my front and rear seats along with the front door pannels. I met a guy who said he would love to do my interior a couple of months ago. Well a hand shake and his photo album and we had a deal. Hand shake was always how I was raised and it finally burned me I think. I hate to say it but its looking that way. I have the 56 2-door so If anyone should stumble across any a 2-door with front door pannels and seats please see what you can do. No this wont change my trust in people but it will make me a little more cautious. I have left several phone messages but no replys in 2-weeks. No address to hunt him down, but I do have a cop friend who will try if he gave me the correct last name.

Thanks for any leads people and no I dont need any ocean front property in Arizona.
