It is truely a shame that the poeple who did this project had no idea how
to build basements or subteranian structures.  The first thing they didn't
know about was drainage. The second thing they didn't know about was
ventilation.  the third thing they didn't know about is that even cars
stored in what appear to be dry basements still rust terribly.  A proper
thing to have dome was sort of above ground vault with natural
ventilation, and viewing ports so they could check conditions
periodically.
The guy who did it more likely agreed to do it for the publicity, or was
somebody's relative.
