IML: '62 Identifying Brake Shoes

John appears to be correct. I called and talked to Andy Bernbaum and he says that effectively there is no difference in leading or following shoes on the '59-'62 brake shoes. It makes you wonder why Chrysler showed two different part numbers for them. Maybe there was a difference at one time and they found that one part would work OK for both positions - another Imperial mystery.

Berbaums can't supply the shoes for another two weeks - I have to call back. I will research other possibilities in the meantime. I may be able to have my shoes re-lined in Dallas.
