Hi Jeff. I do wheel repair. It's not that hard. first cut a "v" grove on 
either side of the crack down to the metal center. Then wash the wheel to 
remove any old dirt,  grime, grease and fillings. Once dry fill the cracks 
with PC-7 I got mine at a hardware store, It's much the same as JB Weld but 
it mixes more like iceing sugar and nice to work with. You have about an 
hour to work with it so you can do a good job.  you can add more PC - 7 
over some that has dried and may not be high enough. Once it's dry sand 
smooth with 1000grit paper.  I usually put the wheel in the fridge for an 
hour or so before I begin to fill in the cracks. This allows the wheel to 
shrink a bit. If you find that after you have filled and sanded that there 
is small gaps just fill it in again with PC - 7 force in, so it goes deep. 
Once your are happy cover with primer, I have used both self etching and 
scratch filler primer. once dry lightly sand with 2000 grit. Once happy 
spray paint with the auto paint colour of our choice. I use spary cans, both 
off the shelf or I get the color I want mixed and put into cans. (I also do 
factory orginal wood graining to steering wheels, dashes and trim.) Then 
clear with at least 3 coats of clear. Remember that watches, rings etc will 
scratch the finish. If you have any questions please let me know.
