i said it privately, but since it applies to more than 1 person,,,  i used
liquid bedliner for sealing floor pans and trunk, especially after making a
whole new floor after putting a 54 savoy on a 85 caprice chassis, its a good
tactic for scratching + deadening sound, the only thing is to watch areas
directly over heat (exh system), the constant temp change between the metal
and liner material will cause it to un-bond, other than defeating the purpose
of sealing, it'll stink like hell or start a fire coming down on pipes...  but
this wouldnt happen for a few years.. (if you're selling and dont care...)  it
also works nice if you mold your inner cieling with foam along the inner rails
and spray liner on thick for texture... instead of a headliner...  you can get
it colors now too...
