[FWDLK] Lots of insurance.

This is forward look related, but the story aggravates me so bad I gotta
tell other car enthusiasts.
I live in NJ and my buddies brother lives in Miami, works for the coast
guard.
he has a 84 Monte carlo with t roofs. During a drive thru a hurricane, the
moulding that sits on the roof between the t-roofs, flew off. Guess what, it
holds the t roofs on the car. So since Memorial day, we've been trying to
find another one. It's 1984 only.
we found one guy who said he could get it for $110. he never came thru with
the part.
Me and my buddy trek thru the ice a few weeks ago at a junkyard in PA , find
one and buy it for $2.12 that's right, two dollars and 12 cents. We were
jumping for joy. We pack it in one of those industrial shipping tubes and
send it to Miami. Wanna guess what happens next. Yep, that's right, it comes
back to us destroyed. It was insured at $100 so he'll probably get some
money, but it does us no good now.
They were thinking about trying to get someone to fabricate one.

Anybody with any ideas. Or if your not busy, call your local bone yards.
We'll throw you a couple bucks if someone can locate one for us.

Nick
