Re: [FWDLK] fighting the battle

When I wrote originally about the battle
and made the comment a Iaccoca, I didn't
mean it as a praise for a paticular version
of Plymouth or Dodge, and actually with the
way the new cars now what difference is there
in the cars anyway.
I know I am showing my age but I remember when
you could be 1/2 mile away and see three cars coming
down the road and be able to tell what they were
now if you have three parked side by side you have
to look for a name badge to tell which is which.
My original comments were about the quality
of the cars coming off the line now and how after
a period of increased quality and dealer care the
quality is going down again and if the rest of the
dealers are anything like what we have around here
then I don't think I will ever buy another Chrysler
product. My Durango was the last chance Chrysler has
with me and if the quality isn't what it was (or at
least close) then they have lost a customer. I am old
enough and been around long enough to relize you own a
vehicle for just a few reasons, you fondley remember it
from your youth, you don't like to walk, and you need
transportation, when it gets too expensive to keep a vehicle
running then it had better be in the fondey remembered
catagory or most people ship it down the road and try again
and if the next one is the same garbage the next is a different
brand. Remember the reason all the German, Japanese, and Korean
cars are so big now is our big three thought we would continue
to buy gabage and by the time they wised up they were not
the only kid on the block anymore.
