As the Hoemans stated, Chrysler, Inc. probably undercoated every car at the
factory  as part of their rust preventative process. Undercoating also
quiets road noise, and provides some insulation.  But nevertheless I still
choose not to undercoat the car, and perhaps I will regret it.  I guess I
was influenced by my friend who restored a 59 Plymouth. He only shows the
car, (it is a trailer queen). Although he doesnt do it, he could put mirrors
on the showroom floor so spectators sould see the highly detailed underside
of the car.  and I still think undercoating actually traps moisture behind
it, leading to rust.  Maybe it is all a matter of proper application....
