ON all of the cars which I have worked on  which is basically 49,50, and 55
Chryslers they were factory undercoated.  this is evident from the car and
the sales literature.

Can't speak for others though.  I always treat metal and then reapply
undercoating from one gallon can of the Gunk with a brush or rag.  Messy but
it works!
