Re: [FWDLK] '57-'58 Plymouth sportone refabrication

Dear forward lookers,

I don't have the sportone aluminum inserts so my next question may sound
stupid : Is the patterned metal the same used on the dashboard trim ? And
wasn't there two patterns (one for '57 and one for '58) ?
Thanks.

Dear forward lookers,

There's a guy who has a post in the "For Sale" section of our beloved
website saying that he found the original company that made the '57-'58
Plymouth Sportone inserts. He claims that they still have a stock of the old
patterned metal, and that they are willing to do a refabrication of the
stuff. Of course, the more, the cheaper it will be ... I've no connections
to the guy but I think it might be very interesting if everything he says is
true. Anyway, I'm writing him a little message to get more info ... I'll
keep you informed.
