[FWDLK] brake upgrade question

I've been talking to AAJ about putting a disc kit on the front of my 56 6cyl
Savoy.
Which lead me to thinking about the rear drum brakes. I beleive that the
8cyl PLyms have 11" brakes as opposed to my 10" brakes.
Can I swap the rear brakes from 10" to 11". I have an 11" brake rear, can I
just swap, backing plates, drums and shoes ? Or are the axles different.
Aybody have a clue ?
