Hi,
   The thing I would caution you on is to find a professional that
understands these braking systems.   Obviously they were acceptable by
1955 standards but many of the brake systems are totally different than
anything available today and we took our 58 Imp to several places and
they could never get it right because they neve fully understood the
system.  It was not until my brother and I understood how it all works
that we were able to get them function really quite well (not Disc-ABS
well but 58 Imperial well) ;-)   You don't want a couple tons of car
moving forward without any way to stop so whatever you decide they
must be done right!
