Per the auto section of today's News & Observer (Raleigh-Durham, NC), the
Leith auto family is auctioning between 12 and 20 vintage automobiles to
benefit the children of the 9/11 victims. Among the vehicles is a black 2
door 1958 Desoto Sportsman with automatic transmission, power steering and
power brakes "valued at $20,000." The car is pictured and looks great.
The auction is this Saturday, Oct. 20, 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Preview from 7
a.m to 10 a.m. same day. There is no minimum bid. For more information,
