Re: [FWDLK] DeSoto Coronado

i'm real close to french lake, about 30 miles away,
and i go there a couple times a year or more, i know the guys that run it
real well. that is where i got the 57 dodge SW last fall. i was there last
fall and i can't remember seeing the 54 coronados, but wasn't looking either,
i don't remember seeing a 55, i know they have been crushing some of the
older cars lately, i seen a pretty much complete 55-56 chrysler 2drht under
the pile ready to be crushed, all the trim and the motor was still in it.
speaking of the 54 with a yellow fender, i think i looked at that car a
couple years ago up north, it was a runner at the time and complete but rusty
and they are not as neat looking as the 55's. if anyone knows windy hill, i
was out there a couple weeks ago, about 30 miles away, and there is new
ownership, a lot of the rows of old cars are gone and they are crushing a lot
of the rest. i did find a rust free trunk floor for my squad, this is where
the 57 fury is that was made into a pickup, it is totally gone with a 6 in
it. most of the smaller older yards are being closed up. stokie
