Hi all.
I am looking for the 2 inspection covers which go over the openings at
the front of the 3 speed Torqueflite trans on a 57 Fury.
One is a flat plate with a half round opening that goes up against the
bellhousing of the trans, has a piece of felt on the half round part,
attaches with 4 bolts and provides access for the crank to torque
converter attaching nuts. The other has a 90 degree fold in it which
laps underneath the trans, and provides access to the ring gear on the
torque converter.
Can anyone confirm whether or not the inspection covers on a 61 trans
are the same?
