I have to make a decision to pacify my wife
as I have too many mopars including chrysler 300's. I have a rare 1957
dodge custom royal lancer 2dr ht which sports an excellent tri-colour paint
combination. This option was not offered on US produced cars in that year. The
body is nice and solid with very solid floors except for a bit on the rocker
panels of which I have new replacements for them. I do have the original cast
iron tranny for it but do not have the original engine for it as I was going to
install either a 1964 or 1965 chrysler 413 engine and also use a 1962 aluminum
tranny to cut down on the excessive weight of the original tranny.
I also have a 1957 dodge coronet which has
rusty floors and missing some mouldings but with a newer 318 engine in it.
I have a rare 1962 300H convertible with
the rare 999 paint code option. I purchased years ago from an estate and the
previous owner had the restoration done at it's existing stage back in 1976. The
body work, priming and paint were done back then but the car not fully assemble.
The interior was missing at time of purchase but I did locate most of it later
on. Now, I do have a 1962 300H caramel 2 dr ht which I purchased
afterwards and would consider selling both as a package to facilitate the
restoration of the convertible. This caramel ht does not have the a/c option but
is a complete car but I have never run it yet.
I also have a 1962 300H white 2 dr ht c/w
a/c option. This is a fairly nice driver but could use some tlc and a
restoration could be in order. I must make a choice in what I will keep
depending in what offers I am made on any of them.
