I mailed 'separately' to Ron, that the 10/58 issue (I gots 2 of 'em) of
Rod & Custom featured the (only-known) article on the 57 Dodge D501, but
that, in addition to the 6 Stromberg carb'ed  354 Hemi, the engine had
been mated to a 1937 LaSalle 3-speed. The article shows how to mate the
LaSalle to the "Elephant" [motor]  (as opposed to mating the elephant,
to a prostitute, & getting a F'ing-know-it-all!!!)
