Re: [FWDLK] GIMME A Brake; and CARPE DIEM!!!! (see below)

With all due respect to Mike & Bill, I still
"recall" (as opposed to merely "believing", or 'hoping', or
shooting-from-the hip), reading, somewhere, that in absolute
(DRY-PAVEMENT) conditions, that a skidding-tire will stop in a
shorter-distance, than will a tire that is stopping-and-starting, as
occurs with an anti-lock system. We are ALL
not debating "control" or "wet" , or "sliding (skid-pad) conditions---
only: dry-pavement conditions.

OK, you rocket-scientists, let's hear from you--AND, IF, I'm correct,
then there wil be no gloating, here, for I'm only reiterating my
understanding; not "producing" anything 'new'.

BTW (and this IS new!!!) The new web-server (is that the 'correct' term?
I'm confuser-illiterate)
there WILL be ONLY THREE messages-allowed, per day--there used to be
five--so :"no-more" chit-chat allowed--
make EVERY word 'count", and/or have long-messages!!!!

This is my FIRST one; I'm gonna post one of my 2 rejected ones, from
last night: THAT will 'make' for 2/3 of my per diem.

Buenos diems,
Neil
