Re: [FWDLK] Christine on eBay - Clone or Actual Movie car???

When did they put a "Hydromatic" [sic] transmission in a Dodge anyhow? That
must be one of those rare prototypes I keep hearing about....

Green interior, red exterior.. someone's painted it. I don't think I'd buy
it if I couldn't go over it with a magnet and see how much filler may be
hidden under the new paint. Florida car could go either way if it's been
near the ocean at all, solid or swiss cheese.

At the current price it's pretty cheap for what it is, which is probably why
all the bids. It's pretty and it runs, and a late '50's 2dr hardtop will
draw bids unless it's a Rambler or something no one wants. Old Cars Price
Guide shows $6K if you want to be generous enough to give it their #4
rating, for this model. If you want to believe their prices.

Ahh well -
