You may not believe this, and I wouldn't even suggest it unless it happened
to me in the past--change out your battery cables. I pulled a 65 Riviera
from out of the mud one time and it wouldn't start so I replaced the
starter. Then it wouldn't charge, and eventually burned out the new starter
from the over-amped restarts. I finally swapped out the batter cables after
a lady clerk at a parts store casually mentioned that they corrode from the
inside out. I didn't have a single electrical problem after that. Who knows?
