Re: [FWDLK] Bubble Windshields

I have spoke to him. I believe the price is closer to $800-$1000. Ouch! There are supposed to be quite nice.

I am probably being inaccurate with this, but the bubble windshields are interchangeable thruout all Mopar hardtops and convertibles in 1959. I would think the same would apply for 1958. They ARE valuable, more-so if tinted and/or shaded. Clear bubble windshields ARE being remanufactured (cost $500+,  I hear). The US dealer name which always comes up is Timo Tim-somethingorother in Southern CA. His ad is in Hemmings.com

What is the story on the "Bubble" windshields in our FL cars?  I have one (cracked) in a '58 Coronet 2dr HT that I am parting, and just saw another one (not cracked) in another '58 Coronet Spring Special that a local guy is parting.  Were they used certain years?  Certain models?  Are they worth anything special?  Really neat looking the way they bulge out before sweeping under the roofline.
